The Storyline:
The young mistress of the Kamiya Dojo, Kaoru, stumbles upon a young man (clueless?) with a cross-shaped scar on his left cheek.
He fits the descriptiong of the legendary battousai, who is ruining the reputation of the dojo, but he weilds a katana with blade sharpened on the wrong side....useless for warfare. Kaoru finds herself intrigued by this stranger
and allows him to stay at the dojo. She has much to learn about his dark past, and who he really is, and what power he has at his command.
Characters:
Himura Kenshin: The scrawny, myserious, red-haired man who seems too polite for his own good.
Kamiya Kaoru: The "flower" of martial arts, who has taken over her father's dojo and trains young people in swordplay.
Myojin Yahiko: A lippy pickpocket who is taken pity upon by kenshin and kaoru, and is allowed to train at the dojo.
Sagara Sanosuke: "Zanza", the legendary fighter for hire who can wield the Zanbato, a humonguous sword with an even bigger reputation.
Megumi: A pretty young nurse who was forced to make opium by her previous employer, is saved by Kenshin.
